What's the meaning behind Washington Alley?

by Eddy Beyne July 19, 2016

Washington Alley was named after Washington St in Traverse City, MI. This is where the co-founders, Eddy and Lucas, grew up. The 800 block of Washington St is where their friendship started and was the true beginning of this project. The 'Alley' part of the name is a tip of the cap to where they spent their time growing up.

As most kids do, Eddy and Lucas spent most of their time in the alley behind their house. Riding bikes, setting things on fire, playing catch, all the best northern Michigan activities. The connection that we had with the alley of the 800 block of Washington St was the inspiration for the name of our brand. It is a place that is as all American as you can get and is a huge inspiration to how we run this website.

That is how we came up with the name Washington Alley.
